You and your child are in excellent hands at our Obstetrics Clinic. In three delivery rooms equipped with the latest technology—including birthing tubs—you can give birth to your child with the support of experienced midwives and specialists.
Directly connected to the delivery rooms is our newborn unit, where early-infancy examinations are also conducted in cooperation
with Mathias Hospital in Rheine. The unit features a lovely lactation room and its own breakfast room. Our spacious Café/Bistro
Vita is available to your family members and visitors.
Our midwives can help you with back pain—for example, through acupuncture—and will monitor and care for you and your baby during the first few
hours after birth. They’ll provide support to get you started with breastfeeding and offer helpful information. For pain relief, options range from
antispasmodic suppositories to pain medications of varying strengths, all the way to an epidural administered by an anesthesiologist.
This allows us to offer individualized support during the different stages of labor. A mother-baby room with a
wide bed is available for relaxation during the pre- and postnatal periods, as well as for outpatient deliveries. If your partner would like to accompany you during your hospital stay, we’d be happy to arrange a separate family room for you.
We also offer the option of an anonymous delivery.
