Get to know us and our hospital. During our parent information evenings, you’ll learn everything about our
facility and our obstetrics team.
Here, expectant parents, as well as future grandparents or interested family members, can meet the midwives and
obstetricians, the gynecologists, pediatricians, and anesthesiologists, as well as the hospital’s midwives. Information is provided about the birthing process and the various delivery methods. In addition to the delivery rooms (provided a baby isn’t just about to be born there), you can also tour the postpartum ward with its family rooms and the
neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
The information sessions are held regularly on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. The meeting place for all interested parties
is Conference Room II. The event is free of charge, and no prior registration is required. However, you can also schedule an individual consultation and tour by phone at any time. Information evenings for expectant parents are also held in Prenzlau.
Individual Counseling for Expectant Parents
As part of the maternity care guidelines, we offer you an individual consultation with a doctor during the 36th week of pregnancy;
regardless of this, you can schedule an appointment for a personal consultation with the doctor or midwife at any time. Breastfeeding
Information Session In two 90-minute sessions, our breastfeeding and lactation consultants (IBCLC) will thoroughly prepare you for breastfeeding starting in the 20th week of pregnancy. From breast anatomy to bonding, breastfeeding positions, and breast care, all the way to early signs
of hunger, you’ll learn everything you need to know to make breastfeeding a particularly intimate experience for you and your baby.
