At the Borromean Sisters’ Motherhouse Hospital in Trier, our midwives, nurses, doctors, pediatricians, and anesthesiologists form an experienced, competent team. We provide women who give birth here with the best possible and most comfortable conditions for the very special day of their lives: the birth of their baby.
As part of our Perinatal Center, any problems or specific questions can be discussed and resolved by a team of obstetricians, midwives, pediatricians, pediatric surgeons, and anesthesiologists. In addition, our diabetes team—comprising diabetologists, diabetes counselors, and psychologists—is available to care for pregnant women with diabetes (Type I, Type II, GDM).
We support you as expectant parents even before the birth and prepare you for delivery through a variety of events. During your stay in the maternity ward, the healthcare professionals and (pediatric) nurses on the ward, as well as the lactation consultants, will be happy to support you. We will also continue to be available to offer you our advice and expertise during the early days with your baby at home. At the breastfeeding café, you can connect with other new parents under expert guidance, and through baby swimming and baby massage, you’ll build a very special bond with your child.
