Infant Care Course
This course provides useful and important information about the first days and weeks of a newborn’s and infant’s life. Pediatric nurse Miriam Harnau
will
provide information on what you need to know now regarding handling, personal care, diaper changes, an optimal sleeping environment, and essential items for your newborn.
The course takes place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Feldsee Ward of the Hochrhein Hospital. The cost per course is 25 euros.

Dear Parents, we’d love to invite you to our Parents’ Café. This is a space for parents of children in
their first year of life to regularly exchange information. Over coffee and snacks, you’ll receive tips and advice on all things baby-related. Knowledgeable and specially
trained staff will be available to answer your questions. We look forward to an informative exchange of experiences and hope to support you in your role as parents.
We look forward to seeing you and your children. The Parents’ Café takes place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Winter Garden on the 2nd floor of the Hochrhein Hospital.
Blessing Ceremony for Pregnant Women and All Those Expecting a Child On Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. in the baptismal chapel of St. Mary’s Church in Waldshut. Yoga for Expectant Mothers The goal of the yoga class
for expectant mothers at Hochrhein Hospital is to help you connect with yourself and your child during this wonderful time of change, support your body, and recharge your energy. Yoga offers a source from which you can draw strength and confidence for the birth and the time afterward.
The class can be attended from the moment you find out you’re pregnant until the birth; no prior yoga experience is required.

Hospital Delivery Room Tour – Every First Monday of the Month
Dear expectant parents, staying in touch with you is important to us. This includes giving you the opportunity to get a feel for the different areas
of our maternity ward. That’s why we offer a tour of the delivery room every first Monday of the month.
The meeting point is at 7:00 p.m. in the Wintergarten; however, we ask that you register in advance by
calling 07751-85 45 41.
